Back to the Studio

I am getting back to one of my creative branches-Recording and Singing. I have mentioned in a previous post that I am going to record a song, “Ordinary Miracles” as a fundraiser for the Bat World Sanctuary. This is a very beautiful song about beauty and gratitude in the world. Sarah McLaughlan recorded it and I think it is the perfect backdrop to the video that I am also producing with a good friend, Tana Newberry. I can get the licensing rights to cover the song through a company called limelight https://www.songclearance.com/

I plan to release the song as a single and distribute it digitally through ITunes, Amazon and CD Baby. It is so cool that there are so many avenues in recording and producing a song that it is a lot more cost effective to record and put out the finished process. My studio consists of Studio Mini XL a very powerful recording ap I have on my Ipad (It has the capability of recording 8 tracks), The IRig Midi which can connect the Keyboard or guitar and the Vocalive vocal processing mic. I have another friend, Jim Wingfield who has agreed to play keyboards for me and I will probably add vocals later. I am working on adding acoustic guitar and the Psaltery, which I will play. I recorded a working demo so I can experiment with the other instruments. This creative process energizes me. I can feel my guides around me and allow their creative energy to merge with me in a synchronistic coupling. My voice seems to grow stronger and my range increases. Though I took 4 years of Piano lessons, it wasn’t until I started learning how to play piano by ear through a musician named Scott Houston also known as the Piano Guy That I learned how to play. By breaking down the steps on how to apply basic chord progression and rhythm patterns. My piano playing is pretty passable. I have accompanied myself in concert or performing in church.

This project is definitely Divinely guided and I look forward to how everything comes together. Being able to combine the gifts that God gave me is such a joy and I get to do my spiritual work as a Peaceful Animal Activist at the same time.

When you walk through the door of a new consciousness, a new awareness it is magic. However, this is a natural phenomena. We just may not know it. I meditate everyday a 40 minute session and them 5 minute meditation tune ups through out the day. I am open to all possibilities. This is a blessing because I never know where I will receive a new message on starting a new project, a new way of looking at a situation in a different way. Maybe the message will come from a phone conversation when I am talking to my brother (which is what happened the other day). Maybe Oski (my 11 year old Bombay mix) will send me a thought that helps me to understand what a certain behavior means; Maybe I will get a vision on a new art project or a new video/song project. Maybe it will be a new calling. Mediation helps me to clear out mental chatter so I will be ready to accept a new opportunity for doing my spiritual work as a Joy Guide. Be patient I am going with something here.

Recently, while I was on my Facebook page, a friend who is a fellow artist and renaissance woman, Angelique Stacy, sent me a photo of a bat holding a teddy bear. So cute. I look in the eyes and I see a consciousness. Very intriguing. I didn’t know a lot about bats, but in the Medicine Cards by Jaime Sands, Bat is the medicine of death/rebirth. I ”liked” the photo, then I started receiving more photos of bats. I started seeing how sweet they can be, what a playful nature they have. Then I started finding out more and found out that they destroy the bugs that can destroy crops. other short factoids: Bats are not blind, they do not suck your blood, and their wings are actually their hands! Amazing, right?

In fact, bats are so misunderstood. I realized I was receiving a calling to help raise awareness about the way we may feel about them. I happened to join the Bat World Sanctuary and got a really sweet note from the founder, Amanda Lollar. I was so touched she went out of my way to send me a personal thank you that I shared with her an idea of recording a single and distributing on ITunes, Amazon, CD Baby and 75% of sales going back to the organization. Amanda emailed me back and agreed that it was a wonderful idea. So now I am starting on this recording project.

Besides getting the licensing rights to cover the song “Ordinary Miracle” I am also going to create a video to go with it. All these things fell in to place within a short amount of time. This is how it works, if you ask God to “use me”. Events occur very fast. So stay tuned. This is a wonderful work in progress and will be interesting to see how it evolves.

I’M Batty for Bats!

Yes, I am declaring I love these mammals. They are smart, sweet, affectionate and very expressive. They have many different vocalizations. And guess what many of the things that bats do have helped develop medications to our species. NO, they will not suck your blood dry. Amanda Lollar founder of the Bat World Sanctuary says “That is only in the movies”. I first learned about bats when my friend and fellow artist, Angelique Stacy shared a post about bats on Facebook. There was a photo of a bat named Pants cuddling with a Teddy Bear. Then I saw another photo of a bat named Lizzie and she had an expression that said she loves and knows how to have fun. That was it. I started thinking of words to write a song inspired by Lizzie titled “If Lizzie could talk what would she say”. The melody came really fast and I knew that the Universe was saying it’s time to get back to work. I don’t consider this a job, I consider this a joy! I made a donation to Bat Worlds Sanctuary and received a very nice email from Amanda. So I emailed Amanda back and told her my idea about writing a song and donating 75% of the sales back to the Bat World Sanctuary. Amanda emailed me back and said “Hi Evie, This sounds wonderful! Your music is really beautiful:)….Thank you so much!” So in the next few months, I will be writing and keeping you all posted of the evolution of this project. The Joy of Manifesting

What would you put on the inside?

I love the word Joy. I hear the word, I visualize the word. I breathe the word into my chakras. I can alchemically change the thoughts of fear to Joy when I breathe and meditate on that word. To feel Joy is who I am. I am a spirit living inside a human body embodying and expressing Joy. When I have manifested things into my life in a short time it is because I am feeling joy about my chosen thing and I wrap the feeling of Joy around a symbol of the thing I want to attract into my life. I do this in 5 minute increments during the day and include that in my virtual group meditation. When there have things that didn’t manifest as quickly as I wanted (I of course are in to instant gratification) it is because I allowed a lower frequency vibration to enter my mind. If I felt fear around what I wanted to attract, it would slow down the process. Marianne Williamson says when we go to a space that is less than joyful-anger, fear, frustration-we are deactivating the connection from the Universal flow of energy. She is not saying it is gone forever, these less than Joyful thoughts are slowing down the process. So work on the reason why the thoughts you don’t want to embrace are here. Then surrender these thoughts and say ” I feel ____, but I am willing to change”. Once you surrender to this process, you will see the miracles we are all capable of creating. I call myself a Visionary Alchemist/Joy Guide because it is a process of changing one belief into another belief. And it is so much fun.

Who knows what is going to show Up?

Does that cover about anything that can turn up? I think yes! I really am looking forward to 2013! it is a Six year. A year of Family togetherness, high creativity vibe. Time to redecorate my home. I have a few projects I am working on. I plan on teaching a Psaltery class in the late spring; I just got an electric violin for Christmas so I am learning how to play it. It is a really cool design. It sounds wonderful when I connect it to my Ipad and use the Amptitude ap with my earphones. It is a lot easier to play than the acoustic violin I struggled with in Junior high and high school. I found a Unicorn Strings Psaltery on Ebay for a really good price. My house will be filled with music. Speaking of Music. I am working on a classical style piece to be played on the guitar and Psaltery. I will have my brother, Gabe play the Guitar and and I will probably Play Rose, my Baritone Psaltery. With the new shift that occurred on December 21st 2012, I know there are exciting and amazing surprises coming in. I can visualize a lot of things over flowing with Joy. I will definitely keep you all posted when these things show up. My guides are ready to assist me. I happened to find an aura photo taken of me 2 years ago. I was just starting to consciously work with Archangels Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Raguel. Before the photo was taken I asked my “Angel crew” to take the photo with me. When the photo developed there was Michael standing on my right side holding his sword. You can see it very clearly. It is an amazing photo. I have to find a way to make a copy of this photo and post it. So yes, hold on to your hats, it is going to be the best Disneyland ride you have ever been on!

Alchemy Woman I was so excited when December 21st finally arrived. The old tired ways of “No Pain No Gain” and thoughts that you have to be a strong “my way or the highway” leader is fading. You will see many manifestations of peace, harmony and love materializing every where. You can change your life too. Actually, anytime before the shift occurred, you can make things change. But now you will have the enhanced energy of attracting things into your lives faster. The dense energy that can filter the higher vibrations so it is more challenging to make that connection has been removed so your manifestation work will produce results much faster. That said, it is also important to be very clear what you are asking for because you will receive exactly what you are asking. When you know exactly how to word your requests you will see the positive joyous results you are seeking and visualize. If you are not sure how to do this. I can help you. I have studied under the teachings of Michael J Lossier and Esther and Jerry Hicks and Gary Craig and love doing this work. This is my Baby Psaltrey by Zither Heaven

I had a wonderful day at the waterfront in the city I live in, Vallejo. I got on my Alkaline HyBike, www.hybike.com; placed my baby Psaltery in the basket and took off. It was a beautiful, brisk sunny day and I loved being out. This bike gets me to the waterfront in 10 minutes. I Found a nice place to park in front of the coffee place, Panama Red. I was pondering as to whether to get a rich, taste intensive, Pumpkin Spice latte, but I decided on their house blend. I sat at the bench, rosined up my bow and started playing scales. I am starting to get the feel of where the sweet spot on the string is. As I was playing, a man and a woman came up. The husband said that he had seen a Psaltery before, but never up close. I asked him if he would like to play it and he did. I told them the short history of the Bowed Psaltery, that it was created by a German school teacher who wanted an instrument for students to learn that would be easier to play than a violin. He said that he plays in a band in Vallejo at a local club on Marin street from 5 to 9. I had no idea there was a club here in Vallejo. My husband and I are going to have to hear him play. While I was Practicing Danny Boy. I had another person who was curious about my baby Psaltery, made by Zither Heaven. She loved the sound and wanted to know more about it and where she could get one. Again I gave the short history on the Bowed Psaltery and the website, www.zitherheaven.com I happen to mention that I will be teaching a beginning class on the Bowed Psaltery in the spring. She was interested in taking the class I handed her a card. Yay, another potential Psalteryist! When I was getting ready to go home, I saw a mother and her kids walking. I think they were waiting for the ferry. I asked Denise, the little girl, if she would like to play my Psaltery. I showed her how to hold the Psaltery and the bow and in minutes she was making some very nice tones. She told me she is learning the guitar. She is teaching herself. Another fellow guitarist. What a great day. I got to ride my Alkaline HyBike, which is now being charged. I got to play my Psaltery in the sunshine and playing next to the water, which is one of my most favorite places to be. I got to drink a great cup of java and talk to other people about this very special instrument. I am starting to feel like a Johnny Appleseed spreading the good Psalms of the Psaltery. The more I play on the baby Psaltery or Rose, my Baritone Psaltery, the more I feel this is a very special journey I am on and enthusiastically open to where this path will lead me.

There is Abundance Everywhere

This was sent to me from my new friend, Donna Malus, creator of the Bowed Psaltery website, Psalterystrings.com This website, I am starting to see as my extended family. We all share a love of this very wonderful, magical Ethereal sounding stringed instrument. I love the picture of the dog and cat celebrating brother-sisterhood for all on this day of Gratitude. I have been doing group meditation with my guides and friends who want to continue to create in our physical world all the abundance, joy, love and beauty everywhere on the planet. The more experiences I have of Abundance showing up in my life when I focus on those experiences-I am shown that when we all do that, the world changes too. We can change the world by focusing on the abundance that is already here. When our virtual group comes together and we combine our mind-focus on the love, peace, compassion, generosity, abundance, balance, wholeness that is here in our lives-everywhere present in the world right now, we can rest assured we will see an example of the changes we are all creating. When we see it, we can say thank you for the “beauty” I am seeing when I look at my Four-legged kids, or when we see the mother who is lovingly holding her child, we can say, I am grateful seeing more of the love in the world and then we will see more of that. When I say Thank you for the deep love that my husband and I share; thank you our dear friends who are supportive, or the courteous driver that allowed me to safely merge into the lane. When we acknowledge the experiences, more comes to us. We start stretching our visualization skills and we will see these amazing things materialize. Start seeing the beauty and abundance in your life, it comes to you. Immerse yourself in the qualities of love, gratitude, joy without filters, they come to you. Then take it a step further-start visualizing for another-love and joy in their lives and see what happens. Abraham says that if we can visualize something for at least 27 seconds or more the changes start coming. We are sending out “rockets of desire”. Can you imagine that if a group of your friends came together and did this exercise, what wonderful things you could create for yourselves and others? I see that now. Today right now I am visualizing the world wrapped in love, joy and gratitude today.

Keeping the Laws of Circulation moving

I am cleaning out my music room to set up my recording/practice room for my new Psaltery Rose. I found some things I wonder why I saved them. I do have a tendency to hold on to things because they may be used for an art project, but I also recognize I can be a pack rat and by this in-action, I just stopped the flow of circulation. I can see my thoughts around finances is shifting, so maybe starting this project is another step in keeping the flow of my new found prosperity going. I have felt that good things keep coming-My mantra, “What is truly mine comes to me at the perfect time”. I was talking with my husband, David, laying in bed still trying to motivate myself to start my day. “You know, it is incredible that now being in my 50′s I am where I wanted to be in my 30′s. I am in a good marriage I am doing work that is challenging and fullfilling and our finances keeps growing. But I realize because it is happening now it is because I have cleared false beliefs I held regarding finances.” and David in his down to earth nature, says “that’s good Honey.” It is good and very good. Some people may feel that they were dealt a bad hand and will remain the same as it was 5 years ago. And yes, if your thoughts are the same, then you are right. If you start getting little glimpses of possibilities on how to change your life you are also right. I realized that when I started focusing on what would take place in a situation and visualized it for no more than 2 minutes a day or more, things would evolve in the the visualization. I started living my meditations. If you have a message that is like a groove in your brain the way you see the lines in a CD or DVD, ask someone to help you. I sure we alll know people who have attracted things in their lives that you would like to have in your life, ask them how they did it, what did they feel when they were thinking of having it. you might find out there is something you can start visualizing to open up your stream of consciousness. When my shift towards finding work that is fulfilling, attracting more opportunities to grow my consciousness it was a real eye opener. Because I realized more of how this works. I am like a broken record-life is to be enjoyed I see this everyday.
