Ready for a new Multi-Media Ebook series starring an inter-species family?

I love the ease of creating a new ebook and putting it on the web. It can take very little mazoola to produce it. If I want to make hard copies of my book that can be a reality. Recently I had a reading with a good friend, Tana Newberry, at Angel Heart 4 You, in Bencia, CA who talks with Angels. And we are conversing with the Angels about the music project I am currently working on to raise funds and awareness for the Bat World Sanctuary. Things seem to be on track. The angels say everything is in place. My feedback is to keep meditating and ask for guidance If I start feeling fearful or overwhelmed. Then my friend, Tana (Newberry) asked me if I had thought about writing a book. I had been toying over that idea because we have so many great experiences living with our 4-legged kids, I have been wanting to share more stories about our family. We really have a unique family tree. Two humans, 3 cats, 1 rabbit, 7 house plants and various crystals and stones and we all co-habitate under one roof. Do I communicate with every-one in the house-Yes! We may be in different body types, but we seem to communicate to the degree we are able. Now I am not a botanist, but when It comes to my plants, I can feel their energy when they want water or healing energy. And when I am connected to them, I can feel a energy that I interpret as pure joy. I have a special Elestial crystal I named Angelica. She feels like a youngster and when I hold her I can sense a giggling kind of energy. She loves being with the plants on the mantel. Sometimes I will hold her and rock her. I can feel a presence in her. I read that Elestials are very good in healing childhood trauma. We also have a nice size Rose Quartz and crystal Quartz that I use in my healing circles. I use a lot of selenite for keeping the energy in the house balanced and peaceful. I meditate everyday and 2 to 3 times a week I do a major Angel Therapy meditation that clears and balances the house, our family and friends. Why do I want to write a book about our family? Because I want other people to know that families that have human and non-human kids have struggles, challenges, loss when a family member dies, but there are also so much joy, love, compassion, happy surprises that we encounter on a daily basis. I have been taking more photos of the 4-legged kids and shooting more video that will go in the book. I want other people to see how much joy a rabbit can feel when they are doing their daily thing of interacting with their family. Or a cat that developed his own hand signals to communicate with me. I also want to share the experiences when we had to say goodbye to some of our kids when they crossed “The Rainbow Bridge”. It was sad, but so many blessings came out of this too. One thing I can share now is that they communicated with our family after they left their bodies to let us know they are ok. So I am excited on this new project. I am still working on a title. But I am leaning towards “Our Family Tree”.

I am getting back to one of my creative branches-Recording and Singing. I have mentioned in a previous post that I am going to record a song, “Ordinary Miracles” as a fundraiser for the Bat World Sanctuary. This is a very beautiful song about beauty and gratitude in the world. Sarah McLaughlan recorded it and I think it is the perfect backdrop to the video that I am also producing with a good friend, Tana Newberry. I can get the licensing rights to cover the song through a company called limelight https://www.songclearance.com/

I plan to release the song as a single and distribute it digitally through ITunes, Amazon and CD Baby. It is so cool that there are so many avenues in recording and producing a song that it is a lot more cost effective to record and put out the finished process. My studio consists of Studio Mini XL a very powerful recording ap I have on my Ipad (It has the capability of recording 8 tracks), The IRig Midi which can connect the Keyboard or guitar and the Vocalive vocal processing mic. I have another friend, Jim Wingfield who has agreed to play keyboards for me and I will probably add vocals later. I am working on adding acoustic guitar and the Psaltery, which I will play. I recorded a working demo so I can experiment with the other instruments. This creative process energizes me. I can feel my guides around me and allow their creative energy to merge with me in a synchronistic coupling. My voice seems to grow stronger and my range increases. Though I took 4 years of Piano lessons, it wasn’t until I started learning how to play piano by ear through a musician named Scott Houston also known as the Piano Guy That I learned how to play. By breaking down the steps on how to apply basic chord progression and rhythm patterns. My piano playing is pretty passable. I have accompanied myself in concert or performing in church.

This project is definitely Divinely guided and I look forward to how everything comes together. Being able to combine the gifts that God gave me is such a joy and I get to do my spiritual work as a Peaceful Animal Activist at the same time.

A Picture is Worth A Thousand Blessings

Pants loves to cuddle as all bats do.

I got this photo from a Facebook Post. It was from the website that is dedicated to the protection of all bats-Campbell Newman’s Bat Shame. This cute bat’s name is Pants or Pantaloon. Isn’t she sweet? She loves to cuddle up against something soft and cuddly. I see so much innocence and trust. The more I read about bats, I get a feel that they are very trusting beings. And why not? There is more awareness on treating other beings with respect. This is my focus as an animal activist and Joy Guide. Remember what I choose to focus on is what I attract into my life. As my vision grows and expands, other see it too. Things are changing all the time, even if appearances may show something else. Take this photo as a symbol that there is beauty, love, compassion and understanding every where in the world. What a lesson for us all.

When you walk through the door of a new consciousness, a new awareness it is magic. However, this is a natural phenomena. We just may not know it. I meditate everyday a 40 minute session and them 5 minute meditation tune ups through out the day. I am open to all possibilities. This is a blessing because I never know where I will receive a new message on starting a new project, a new way of looking at a situation in a different way. Maybe the message will come from a phone conversation when I am talking to my brother (which is what happened the other day). Maybe Oski (my 11 year old Bombay mix) will send me a thought that helps me to understand what a certain behavior means; Maybe I will get a vision on a new art project or a new video/song project. Maybe it will be a new calling. Mediation helps me to clear out mental chatter so I will be ready to accept a new opportunity for doing my spiritual work as a Joy Guide. Be patient I am going with something here.

Recently, while I was on my Facebook page, a friend who is a fellow artist and renaissance woman, Angelique Stacy, sent me a photo of a bat holding a teddy bear. So cute. I look in the eyes and I see a consciousness. Very intriguing. I didn’t know a lot about bats, but in the Medicine Cards by Jaime Sands, Bat is the medicine of death/rebirth. I ”liked” the photo, then I started receiving more photos of bats. I started seeing how sweet they can be, what a playful nature they have. Then I started finding out more and found out that they destroy the bugs that can destroy crops. other short factoids: Bats are not blind, they do not suck your blood, and their wings are actually their hands! Amazing, right?

In fact, bats are so misunderstood. I realized I was receiving a calling to help raise awareness about the way we may feel about them. I happened to join the Bat World Sanctuary and got a really sweet note from the founder, Amanda Lollar. I was so touched she went out of my way to send me a personal thank you that I shared with her an idea of recording a single and distributing on ITunes, Amazon, CD Baby and 75% of sales going back to the organization. Amanda emailed me back and agreed that it was a wonderful idea. So now I am starting on this recording project.

Besides getting the licensing rights to cover the song “Ordinary Miracle” I am also going to create a video to go with it. All these things fell in to place within a short amount of time. This is how it works, if you ask God to “use me”. Events occur very fast. So stay tuned. This is a wonderful work in progress and will be interesting to see how it evolves.

I’M Batty for Bats!

Yes, I am declaring I love these mammals. They are smart, sweet, affectionate and very expressive. They have many different vocalizations. And guess what many of the things that bats do have helped develop medications to our species. NO, they will not suck your blood dry. Amanda Lollar founder of the Bat World Sanctuary says “That is only in the movies”. I first learned about bats when my friend and fellow artist, Angelique Stacy shared a post about bats on Facebook. There was a photo of a bat named Pants cuddling with a Teddy Bear. Then I saw another photo of a bat named Lizzie and she had an expression that said she loves and knows how to have fun. That was it. I started thinking of words to write a song inspired by Lizzie titled “If Lizzie could talk what would she say”. The melody came really fast and I knew that the Universe was saying it’s time to get back to work. I don’t consider this a job, I consider this a joy! I made a donation to Bat Worlds Sanctuary and received a very nice email from Amanda. So I emailed Amanda back and told her my idea about writing a song and donating 75% of the sales back to the Bat World Sanctuary. Amanda emailed me back and said “Hi Evie, This sounds wonderful! Your music is really beautiful:)….Thank you so much!” So in the next few months, I will be writing and keeping you all posted of the evolution of this project. Celebrity Sighting (who is Also a Good Friend of Mine and Yours Too)

I love the magazines who have a section of celebrity sightings. Oh boy you met Brad Pitt, is he as cute as Angelique thinks he is? You saw Chris Isaak at Ocean Beach in San Francisco? What you were standing next to Bruce Springsteen? It is really cool to meet these extraordinary people. I met John Dye the actor who played Andrew the Angel of Death in Touched by an Angel. He had a sparkly personality and fun to talk to. I met Tony La Russa when I was working at Pet Food Express in Pleasant Hill. He is a very stoic person who liked to keep to himself. But if you asked him about his animal family he would immediately light up. But one of the well-known personalities I have gotten introduced to 2 years ago is Archangel Michael and the other Archangels. I was introduced by a dear friend, Tana Newberry. Tana is a very talented film maker, but also known as the “Angel Girl” at anyone who goes to Angel Heart 4 You in Benicia. She was giving a workshop on how to get connected with Archangel Michael. She took us through some exercises to increase our awareness of him. In the first meditation, it was a guided meditation to meet him. It was interesting how everyone in the group saw him differently. Some of us saw him as a very handsome, radiant male with long blonde flowing hair with his Sword. But how he appeared to me was an angel in a long white robe wearing a fake nose and glasses with a Groucho Marx mustache holding a cigar. I asked him why he is appearing to me like this and he said “you are the one who wanted me to look like this. I will appear to each individual in a way that is comfortable.” Yes, he was in the perfect persona for me. I learn better if there is a humorous aspect. He told me that when ever I needed help from him just ask. Now that I am aware of him. When I am in a space where I feel uncomfortable with certain situations or people, I call him in and I instantly feel calm and safe. I was told by Tana that he is also an angel to call if you are having trouble with your computer or anything electronic. I always feel him around me. As I am writing this. I feel his hands on my shoulder. and a warmth down my back. He is gently supporting me. He is like a big brother to me. So back to the photo. There was a lady in Angel Heart taking Aura Photos. Before the photo was taken I asked my Angel crew to take a photo with me. This is the photo that was taken

When I took this photo today so I could show this to you, you can see Michael holding his sword. You may be able to see there is spark coming out of my right eye and a presence on my heart chakra. but I also saw some things that didn’t show up originally. if you look at the upper right hand side you can see an outline of an angel wing or a bat wing. I just got introduced to the Bat kingdom from a photo on Facebook. It was a photo of a bat holding on to a teddy bear. It was So cute. I got such a sense of love and innocence from looking at her photo. Bats are very misunderstood and I am now being called to share the lives of bats. It is all because of the photo of Lizzie who I believe is an interspecies ambassador. My next project will be on bats. So if you want to be friends with Archangel, just call on him, he’ll be there.

Life is to be enjoyed

I have not written since a week before Mother’s Day. There is so much activity going on, that I am having so much fun, that I haven’t stopped time to write. But here I am now. I wanted to let you know what is going on. First of all, for Mother’s Day, David gave me an IPad! I had been wanting one for a while. I have been using my Ipod touch to record songs, but it is over 3 years old and couldn’t get the great software out there and the screen is a little too small for me to use the controls on the interface. So now the screen is so big and I have two great programs on my IPad-Studio MiniXL an 8 track recording studio and a program to write the chords and words for writing my songs. It has a scrolling device so I don’t have to carry my heavy songbook with me when I perform. I am also using my IPad for editing videos with the IMovie AP. it is so easy to use. The IPad is truly an amazing lifestyle tool.

I also got an IPhone and am now replacing my Sony Handicam. The quality is so much better. There are also accessories so you can attach extra mics and a tripod. I am streamlining my equipment so I only have to take my IPhone and a tripod-Amazing.

The trip to Mendocino was very fruitful. I had a wonderful time singing at the Mendocino Center. There was a lady who is a fellow animal activist and said that when we come up we can use her guest apartment. And I will be going up to Mendocino on a semi-regular basis. I am producing a new show up there called “The Paw Stops Here in Mendocino”. I shot my first show in May. I interviewed Kevin Williams who is a docent at Point Cabrillo Lighthouse along with his dog Dillon. Dillon is a very cute Boucion mix and has a lot of charisma. He even has a blog talking about life at Point Cabrillo and to get the word out about the proposed closure of the list of parks in California, for which Point Cabrillo is on the list. Kevin talked about what we can do so that doesn’t happen. We can change this. It would be a shame to not have access to these beautiful places. Show your voice and support.

I also interviewed Christine Olson Day who is the manager and owner of Gallery Bookshop in Mendocino. For 18 years, they had a store cat named Colette. She talks about the way Colette touched so many lives. It is so touching. Last but certainly not least. I interviewed the manager of the Surf Motel. This motel located on the main street of Ft. Bragg has been around for over 60 years. It is pet friendly. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Tune in when the show airs. I am also going to put it on my YouTube channel. I will send the link when I finished editing it.

I am also getting ready to do another concert for Any Dog Rescue. I love doing my animal activist work through song. It is such a gift for me to give back in this way. I feel I am living the life I have always created in my mind. I am using my gifts as a singer, painter, writer, peaceful animal activist. I wake up with joy and excitement for the new day. who knows what wonderful experiences will come to me today.

It can happen to you too. Breathe in and out. Focus on your joy; focus on things that make you happy. Focus on things that fill you with Gratitude and Grace. It is these very things that will come into your life the more you think about them. It raises your vibration, lowers your stress. When life throws you a curve. Recognize that your experience what you think about and your attitude about it. Yes, life is to be embraced, experienced in the present and enjoyed!

The Realization of life

I can create possibilities into Realities.

I took this title from a song I wrote. The name of the song is “The Realization-this song will be be going on my next CD. This is the 3rd step of what we “New Thinkers” call Affirmative Prayer. Actually I believe it is technically called “Recognition”. This is the step you are declaring that what you want in your mind is already here. When you name it and claim it-it is yours. I was telling a friend the other day that I feel as If I walked through the door of good fortune and many, many things are coming into my life. I have a wonderful job making a good income and working in a wonderful location-my home. In this job I utilize all my talents in fulfilling ways. I work for people who I respect who respect me. This is a dream job. I am also pursuing my interests as a singer, painter, writer, animal activist, photographer and videographer and getting paid. I have a loving marriage with a man who is fun to be with-has a good outlook in the world; he loves and respects animals as much as I do. He still knows how to make me laugh and can make me feel shy as if we were first dating (although we have been together almost 13 years. We have a close-knit multi-species family. Besides humans, cats and rabbits living in our house we have many plant babies. As I have gotten more tuned in, my plant babies will call me when it is time to water them.

I am not writing this with an intention to brag but to declare that when we realize that all good things deserve to come to us, that is what we receive. In Science of Mind, Reality means, your personal truth. So if I believe I can make money doing things that I love-I do. If I believe I deserve to be loved by a loving, sweet, sexy man with a generous heart, then he shows up (he did 34 years in high school and then reappeared in December 1999-I married him in 2001). If I can believe I can meet interesting people for my TV show, I do. If I believe that when ever I have a challenge I will be led to a solution-it comes in at the perfect time. This Reality is not only for the “chosen few” it is for anyone who is willing to go out of their comfort zone and open up to the possibility that you truly can create a life you enjoy. This consciousness came in for me in little bits and pieces at first, then as I got comfortable recieving, more and more things came in a consistent flow. Yes I have so much to be grateful for, I Realize this, accept this and claim it. And so it is!

Spring is just around the corner and my spirit is already blooming!

Spring is the time for rebirth, renewal. I love this season. I can feel the energy of new growth all around me. I have a new CD, “Let Their Voice Be Heard” being released on March 25th along with the concert at the Vallejo Spiritual Center for Living; new job, new position serving on the Board of Trustees at my church. I am still having fun producing my show, The Paw Stops Here. My husband and I are still loving and liking each other. My 4-legged kids and I continue to evolve in our relationship. They listen more because I listen more. I had a conversation with a friend and said if you want to know how to communicate with your animals better, all you have to do is quiet your mind and listen.

The concert is shaping up nicely. Ed Rosenback, Lee Wingfield and myself were interviewed for the local paper, the article came out yesterday, http://www.timesheraldonline.com/ci_20201200/vallejo-church-concert-is-all-animals Rich Freedman did a great job and jokingly referred to us as Peter, Paul and Mary; I love their music so that was a big complement. This Friday, I am being inteviewed on the local Radio Station, OZCAT (that seems appropriate, being that it has Cat in the name!) I put a PSA on my TV station, VCAT (another name with cat in it, is this a theme?) My life is unfolding as if someone waved a magic wand and said what ever you want, just wave your wand and I do because the words I speak and declare is my wand (thank you Ernest Holmes).

Because my life continues to flow in harmonious ways. I know I am allowing my good to pour in. The CD and concert, My new job, my loving marriage, the great relationship I have with all our Four-legged kids-All these things are telling me that I am in alignment with the flow of spirit and the Law of Attraction is responding.

I have another opportunity to give my “Let Their Voice Be Heard” concert in San Francisco. There are things in the works for the Mendocino area. I love doing my spiritual work It is a jo(y)-not a jo(b). What is pouring into my life is an example of what can happen when you open your arms to receive and ask. That is what Jesus meant when he said, (I am paraphrasing) all these things I do you can do also. As a way of sharing my gratefulness. I want to close with a blessing:

The love of the Infinite Presence is with me today and always. It flows in everything I see, I feel, touch and I am one with this loving source that created me.

So I declare today that I continue to bless my gratitude that is flowing in my life right now all the love, the prosperity, the beauty, the joy is everywhere present and I also declare that every being on the planet also has the gifts of the Universe pouring in and as the waking mind of all the beings of the planet acknowledges this simple truth, the gifts are revealed in the perfect way.

I am so grateful for the many ways it manifests in my life and for all my brothers and sisters on the planet (in what ever form they are in).

So I release these words of joy to the Universal Mind of the Infinite Presence and I know that my words come back to me multiplied abundantly.

And so it is!
